IN AN EMERGENCY, ACT FAST
How to give PawMergency to your pet
If you think your pet ate something dangerous, do not wait for symptoms to show. Activated charcoal works by binding certain toxins in the gut before they cross into the bloodstream, so the sooner you give it the better. Here is how.
Dial the tube to your pet's weight
The built-in plunger dials by weight. Give 1 mL for every pound your pet weighs, so a 30 lb dog gets 30 mL. No measuring and no guesswork.
Give it straight from the tube
PawMergency is a ready-to-use gel, so there is nothing to mix. Uncap the tip, place it in the side of your pet's mouth, and press the plunger. If your pet is picky, mix with food or their favorite treat.
Cap it and keep it for 2 years
Re-cap the tube and put it back where you keep it. PawMergency is multi-use and stays shelf-stable for up to 2 years, so whatever is left is ready the next time your pet gets into something they shouldn't.
Call your vet or poison control
Even after giving PawMergency, contact your veterinarian or the ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center at 888-426-4435 right away. Tell them what your pet ate, how much, and when.
PawMergency works for a wide range of toxins
- Chocolate
- Grapes and raisins
- Caffeine

GET THE AMOUNT RIGHT
How much to give
PawMergency is formulated to 1 mL for every pound of body weight, and the built-in dial makes it exact. Larger dogs simply need more than one tube. When in doubt, round up.
| Pet weight | How much |
|---|---|
| Under 15 lbsdogs & cats | ½ tube |
| 16-30 lbsdogs & cats | 1 tube |
| 31-60 lbsdogs | 2 tubes |
| 61-90 lbsdogs | 3 tubes |
| 91-150 lbsdogs | 5 tubes |
Have more than one pet? Keep enough on hand for each one, so you are ready no matter who gets into trouble.

What happens if you wait?
Once a toxin reaches the bloodstream, it is out of the gut and far harder to treat. Speed is everything, toxins absorb within 60 minutes. Emergency vet care for poisoning can run $1,500 to $5,000, and that assumes you get there in time. PawMergency is a one-time purchase you keep on hand, so you can act in the first minutes instead of losing them.

Activated Charcoal
Coconut-shell activated charcoal is packed with tiny pores that trap toxins. When your pet gets into something they shouldn't have, the charcoal binds those toxins in the gut before they cross into the bloodstream. Everything it binds passes out naturally in the stool.
Kaolin Clay
Kaolin clay is a gentle intestinal binder used in veterinary medicine for decades. It adds a second layer of toxin binding and coats the GI tract to calm irritation while your pet's body clears what they got into.
Customer reviews
Fortunately. I have not needed to use this yet. It's something that every pet parent should have in their emergency kit!
It could save your pet's life in the event of an accidental exposure to poison.
I hope never to have to use these but have them just in case. I ordered 3 and gave 1 to my sister.
It's for emergencies. Haven't had to use it yet.
Great to have on hand in case of accidental ingestion by one of our dogs.
Grateful I have it
I've used it once and my dog went crazy over this stuff. I didn't expect that at all, but giving it 5 stars for that alone!
Emergency animal poisoning reversed
Haven't had to use this thank goodness but I wouldn't want not to have it. My fur babies or my kids. I also bought one for my son to have. Everyone should have at least one.
It works
Good
Pet Safety
This product was referred to me by a vet. Better to have in case of my dog eating something he should not.
Good to have
Thank goodness haven't had to use but very thankful I have it for emergencies.
Oportuno
No lo he utilizado pero me da gran tranquilidad saber que lo tengo. Viene preparado en jeringa que con el peso del perro nos indica la dosis recomendada.
Peace of mind
I hope that I never need to use this, but it's a nice peace of mind to keep around. We pack this emergency medication along when we have our yorkie staying with friends or family if we're traveling and need a sitter as well. Nice portable product.
He's safe now
Feels good to know my baby Rottweiler is safe!
Pricey, but important in the moment
It's one of those things you don't need until you do. My pup got into some fly trap bait. Luckily it wasn't poison. It did make me realize how important it is to have treatment on hand in an emergency. I'm careful with things that he could get in trouble with, but man can those fur babies move fast. I feel better knowing I've got treatment available if needed.
Haven't used it yet thankfully
This seems to be a good choice but thankfully I have never had to use it! It's to help if your dog chokes.
Real review
Someone thought it would be a good idea to give my dog a bunch of human food while we were at a family birthday party. Woke up to him throwing up bile everywhere looking scared. I gave him some of the PawMergency that I bought just in case. 10 minutes and he's not throwing up anymore, running around like a lunatic.
In case of emergency
I'm keeping this in the house just in case. Same as having an EpiPen on hand. I love my dog so much that having this on hand makes me feel better.
Keep on hand
I've read that this could save your dog's life. I pray I'll never need to use it, but if I do, it's easy to read and apply.
Love security of having if ever needed
Santa put this in grand-dog's stocking. As a mini-Aussie, she is always getting into things and always trying to grab scraps from the toddler and highchair. Always afraid she will eat chocolate, grapes, raisins, onion, medicine, toys, socks, anything and everything. Hope daughter never has to use it but will have it if ever needs it.
Piece of mind
Gave as a gift for my mom's small dog. Happy with item.
Keeping our furbaby's safe from toxic poisons
We have this on standby just in case one of our furbaby's eats something we might have dropped before we had a chance to pick it up.
Expensive but easily used for the general public
This is the next one product. It could, however, be of a little larger capacity for a value.
Dog
Great to have in your doggie bag. Dogs get into everything, and I have this to help if my dog gets into something outside that he shouldn't have. Easy to administer.
Life saver everyone needs to have!
This already saved my dog's life, or at least saved an emergency vet visit and lots of her suffering. She got into silica dust from some home repairs we were doing. We thought we were really careful. Dust traveled and she kicked it when I was in the other room. She started coughing then vomiting foam. She couldn't stop. I remembered I bought this because of a story I read about it saving someone's dog. Grabbed it and used it. She came right up and licked the end of it, no problem. Immediately the vomiting stopped. It never started back up. This worked incredibly well. No side effects. We watched her for 48 hours and she was all good. Life saver and will recommend it to everyone that has animals.
Great to have in case of emergency!
Having this on hand gives me so much peace of mind. I even brought it to my vet, and they said it was a great idea to keep around! Easy to understand and use in case of emergency.
Hope you never need it!
Things can happen so quickly and time is of the essence! Having this in your dog first aid kit could be a life saver! Make sure to have enough for your size dog.
Great for your peace of mind
A must for pet owners. It brings such peace of mind to have this in my home in case of an emergency with my pets. Instructions are very clear on dosage and the fact that it is multiple use is a huge plus.
Vetanica PawMergency Emergency product for dogs and cats
It's been advised to have this on hand if you would ever need this! If your pup or cat ever gets into some kind of poison, this product could save their lives.
This is a life saver for your dog or cat!
This product is a lifesaver! My dog got sick after eating an ant trap and within hours of giving her this charcoal she was already feeling better. Back to drinking water and her energy returned fast. I'll never be without this. Every dog owner should keep a bottle on hand!
